I posted what goes in my bag; I think that my Mac’s apps are much more interesting:<\/span><\/p>\n

Of course the usual culprits are on my Mac:<\/span><\/p>\n

\nMac OS 10.5 Leopard
\n\u2022 Photobooth gets a workout – great fun with Cynthia
\n\u2022 Automator launches my chat apps on startup
\n\u2022 Font Book gets used often enough
\n\u2022 Image Capture – because I catalog my photos with Finder, then import into Aperture.
\n\u2022 Mail.app – for work’s Exchange
\n\u2022 Time Machine, iCal, QuickTime, Activity Monitor – obviously
\niLife ’09
\n\u2022 iPhoto – for our iPhones
\n\u2022 iWeb – fourpointedstar.com
\n\u2022 don’t really use any of the other iLife apps
\niWork ’09 – only really use Keynote
\nAperture – Oh how I love this software!
\nFinal Cut Express – like Final Cut … for notebooks<\/span><\/p>\n

:: paid apps
\n\u2022 Adobe Photoshop CS3 – Aperture has replaced most of it’s use with my photo editing, but I tried to use Acorn, and I found that I still love PS because of its actions and familiarity.
\n\u2022 Microsoft Office 2008 – I only use Excel to create documents, I use Word and PowerPoint only when I need to read a document, and I refuse to use Entourage.
\n\u2022 I bought both NetNewsWire and OmniWeb before they were free; and I still use NNW for all of my RSS needs.<\/span><\/p>\n

:: free apps
\nConnectivity
\n\u2022 Adium – it’s all in one client, even FaceBook (which I disabled)
\n\u2022 Chicken of the VNC – for all (1) of the Win2000 PCs on my network
\n\u2022 CoRD – all of my remote Windows connections in one window
\n\u2022 Cyberduck – free and easy to setup for FTP
\n\u2022 Google Notifier<\/span><\/p>\n

Browsers
\n\u2022 FireFox with VertTabbar – only use FFX because I can put my tabs on the right side, ala OmniWeb
\n\u2022 OmniWeb – no longer use because it would lock up RAM and wasn’t likely to get the “remember session” feature
\n\u2022 Camino, Flock, Opera, Safari – all for logging into multiple accounts at once
\n\u2022 Stainless – because I have to use a crashy browser every once in a while<\/span><\/p>\n

Etc.
\n\u2022 Disk Inventory X – it’s like SpaceMonger, but slower and uglier
\n\u2022 FileWrangler – for all my renaming needs
\n\u2022 Flip4Mac – .wmv on my Mac
\n\u2022 Google Earth – way too cool
\n\u2022 MacTracker – because I am a Mac nerd
\n\u2022 Picasa – because I am a photography nerd
\n\u2022 Quicksilver – my app launcher
\n\u2022 FLV player
\n\u2022 TextWrangler – editing html and css
\n\u2022 TinkerTool
